This piece is created almost entirely from recycled content: white plastic bags, aluminum cans, clear dry cleaner bags.  The piece was created for a recyclable design competition held by the ImaginOn library in Charlotte, North Carolina in collaboration with Charlotte Fashion Week.  The piece was shown at Charlotte Fashion Week 2013, and won first place in the competition.  It went on to win a Gold Key Award for Fashion in the 2014 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
