The Lincoln Memorial has been captured millions of times in a multitude of ways. When I was finally able to see the monument in real life for the first time, it was nothing short of breath taking, and previous photos no longer seemed to do it justice. I truly felt the need to focus and really capture the immense attention to detail as well as the towering scale of Lincoln's figure.
