This project brief was to create a similar but slightly different work piece of Andy Warhol.
Looking at the Marilyn Monroe work piece, I came up with this idea to create a similar image using a different person and a different colour background and experimenting with patterns as well.
I took this picture in a studio with a white background to make it easier to work with, then i sent it over onto Photoshop CS4. I then used the threshold filter on the image and coloured sections to create the effect. That was for the first two images.
After doing a range of tests with the images, I decided to take it a bit further on the second two images by using a fabric witch was scanned in to make a colourful background.
The last two was experimenting with patterns to complete the final images.
