An initial design for one of the prosthetic limbs I designed, as well a photograph of how the final product looked.
As part of the project i looked into the idea of constriction, as many people can feel trapped and limited by their condition.
When photographing the prosthetics i chose to project images associated with freedom, power and strength to challenge the preconceptions of those with disaabilites. The use of multiple models shows how disaility can effect a range of people.
From the photograph I made a series of prints, each oe slightly different. To me this reflects the range of rms dissability can take.
