Experimental Bookmaking.
University brief.
The brief was to create exhibits for an experimental book exhibition based on any word linking to the theme of 'Minute', organised by We Love Your Books. There were three aspects to this brief, the first part involved creatng an experimental book and exploring innovative ways of adapting the book. The second part was to produce a Print on Demand book based on an aspect of part one. And finally, to take the product of part two and adapt it, alter it, recover it etc.
My idea was based on the idea of seeds as minute objects and how they can evolve and grow into bigger forms, hence the title of my book 'Mighty Oaks from Little Acorns Grow'.
