Vintage Toy Packaging Design project focusing on creating 5 identical forms each given different personalities through conceptual design. I chose to pakcage harmonicas, each of which would be tuned to a different key giving them a disntinct sound which relates to a specific genre of music that the sound lends itslef well to (classical, jazz, blues, folk, and rock). The concpet focuses on the relationship between the harmonica and its role in bringing cheer to soldiers throughout history going all the way back to WWII, and this is shown through the use of morse code. The hidden messages found inside an outside the package in conjunction with the imagery and bold colors to represent each musical style gives each harmonica package a voice of it's own while still being united as a set.
