Design a specimen sheet for assigned typeface
For this assignment, I was assigned Futura. I spent the beginning of the design phase researching the typeface to get a feel for what Futura really stood for. It turns out that not only is Futura a go-to typeface, it was the first typeface on the moon. It is featured on the plaque that says “Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon July 1969, A.D. We came in peace for all mankind.” Once I found this out, I immediately knew I wanted to create a moon themed movie poster.
