Analysis of the movie Hugo Cabret and its components (spaces, colors, textures, characters and concept behind the movie) in order to develop two new concepts:
1. Machine man: as human beings we have been detached of our real being in order to turn mechanic and continuously efficient.
2. Piece man: We've been divided and our continuos journey is to find ourselves and get all of our pieces together.
This pictures are from the installation made in order to represent the colors, textures, sensations and concepts that the movie creates in the viewer. In order to create the same feeling we covered the classroom in black fabric and created the engines with several layers of box cardboard covered in gold paper. The general structure where the engines move was made of wood and painted black.

Montaje realizado partiendo de un análisis formal de la película La invención de Hugo Cabret, donde se estudió: personajes, paleta de color, texturas, iluminación y contenido se desarrolló el concepto: Hombre máquina, bajo el cual se elaboró todo el montaje.
Hombre máquina: proviene directamente de la equivalencia que la película hace sobre existir de manera homogénea con las máquinas, y por tanto ser una de ellas. De manera específica, el sueño de Hugo de convertirse en autómata e incluso la pierna mecánica del inspector se convierten en rasgos que evidencian esta noción casi robótica e insensible de la existencia humana.
Las imágenes que aparecen a continuación son de la instalación y cómo a través de ella se representaban los colores, texturas y sensaciones que transmite la película. En la parte inferior se encuentra un video y el manual de análisis.
