Paintings I've done for classes and on my own time.
1. This is a mixed media piece done in oil paint and yarn on canvas. For our Painting III final, I chose to do my piece from a well known National Geographic photograph, "The "Afghan girl", taken by Steve McCurry. Everything is in paint except for her scarf which is made out of yarn thats been glued down.
2. Portrait of my boyfriend.

3. Assignment was to capture the warm and cool light hitting the white fabric thats been wrapped around a mannequin.
4. Subtractive method. Toned the canvas with burnt sienna and used a rag and brush to wipe away paint in order to create the features.
Subtractive method painted over with color
5. Self Portrait done by Palette Knife
6. Self Portrait
7. Inspired by an image on google of roses. Did my own version with yellow Mimoza flowers for my boyfriend's mom, whose name is Mimoza.
Painted on a small canvas.
