Stocking Anarchy Construction

I made this costume a few years ago; it was one of my first time learning how to sew (I hand sewed this outfit; no sewing machines were used) and create costumes. Everything is made by me except the corset, in which I just hand sewed the silver satin and white trim detail to it. The bow in my hair and the hearts are made with a sparkley blue spandex material stuffed with cotton to hold its shape. The chocker was made with strips of white trim and silver satin. I made the arm warmers out of an old pair of leggings; I cut and hemmed the edges. I made the top out of an old tank top; I cut off the straps and made new ones, along with the detailing of the silver on top and I added the blue vertical stripes on the top as well. The pattern for the skirt was drafted by me. I made three layers for the skirt; I wanted to give it more of a lolita style look with lots of volume and fluff. The leg warmers were made of the same blue and white cotton of the skirt, with elastic around the top to hold it up.
