As an aspiring fashion and commercial photographer, I shot a commercial fashion campaign showcasing 2 collections of designer fashion for the luxury department store brand Neiman Marcus. This imagery would be used for in store advertising, magazine ads or web advertising. It is shot in studio for a crisp, cohesive and commercial look with models that display a youthful and edgy, yet poised attitude.
The ads focus on designer JD Noble and her faux collaboration with Neiman Marcus and feature two different spring/summer collections. The designer, JD Noble, describes the first ready-to-wear collection as one for the young working woman on-the-go who also wants to stand out at the party. She says that the collection is a celebration of youth. The variety of styles allow for the wearer to mix and match pieces for a variety of life's different settings. She describes the target audience for the 2nd collection as one for a modern woman with a yearning for travel,” which is why the palette is so bright, yet made in a silhouette that was fitting for many different occasions.
