It's the simple things.
A possible logo for my future business.
Also a possible logo for my future business.
The logos project really tested my class' creativity. First, we had to create 10 different artboards and create at least 3 distinct logos. We had to make sure we had layers so our professor knew we understood the program to some extent. The logos were supposed to represent us. At the end, we had to save it for the web.

Since I plan on being a photographer someday, I decided to play around with some photography logos. I found some animated camera images through the fair use filter on Google. After that, I made them vector images on Illustrator so they'd be easier to edit. I did some touch ups with the pen tool and voilà! I created my own logos for my future photography buisness (fingers crossed)!
Tessellations was the first actual project that showcased our Illustrator skills. We had to make an artboard 5x7 and create a pattern on said artboard. We had to make groups of each type of shape we used. We also had to use layers and different colors. Once finished, it had to be saved for the web.

Personally, I like to keep it simple. I'm a fan of darker colors, but I can also deal with light colors every now and then. That's when I thought, why not combine the two? I layered rectangles, circles, and stars. I think this project was a success because I like simplicity and I also enjoyed doing my own thing in Illustrator instead of following a chapter step by step.
