For my painting final, I took inspiration from the low country of South Carolina. I decided to focus on one in particular, the marsh at Palmetto Bluff. I took inspiration for artists Eric Aho and Monet. Looking at paintings from a modern artist and a past artist help me create different techniques for my painting. Many of my brush marks were created using a stippling movement and quick, short strokes. I focused on comprising the color palette a neutrals including; greys, raw umber and a variety of greens.
