Dog Safety Campaign

Series of posters or billboards that feature a seemingly friendly, harmless dog pictured, while the text explains that what's going on inside the dogs mind may be fear, nervousness, pain or protectiveness - meaning despite their harmless appearance, any of the dogs could snap and attack at any moment due to a human's inappropriate or intimidating behaviour.

Each poster in the series features 1 of the top 10 tips for dogs safety, and directs the viewer to head to dogsafety.govt.nz to find out more about how they can act safely around any dogs.

A series of Television Commercial scripts that provide an insight to how a human's behaviour, despite having the best intentions, can come accross as intimidating or scary to a dog. Through voiceover, they convey that any dog, no matter how friendly or harmless they may appear,  can be caused to lash out or attack due to a human's behaviour or interaction with them. Therefore it is not the dog who is dangerous, but the human's actions that MAKE the dog dangerous.
