Garment Design and Construction: Mary Tres and Erin Wyrosdick
Filmed and Edited by Erin Wyrosdick
A product created for a theoretical sustainable line for Iris Van Herpen. The garment was constructed from previously used and owned materials, including (but not limited to) a shower curtain, textbook pages, fabric swatches, and cardboard. The garment is a highly conceptual representation of the facade that many companies utilize in order to be perceived as having high standards in corporate social responsibility. However, it is only until we reach the last layer do we see the "transparency." The film coincides with showcasing that message.
