On February 13th, I released my self-published graphic novel "O" at a solo exhibition in Hamburg, Germany.
Running 76 pages, the book is presented in an oversized format measuring 11.4 by 15.9 inches (29cm by 40.5cm) . The inner pages are printed in black and white on Munken Pure1.13 yellow white paper. The cover, a large scale black and white screen print, is removable and unfolds into a poster. The first edition is limited to 50 issues. The sale is running through me personally and Gudberg publishing in Hamburg. „O“ takes us into an obscure thicket of intricately drawn garbage through which a horde of elephants makes its way. Among the animals lives the protagonist of the story: a mute, naked obese boy who moves on all fours. He comes across an egg and the story unfolds.
