인간이 살아가는 이 유한의 세계에는 거스를 수 없는 것이 있다. 누군가는 떠나가고, 남겨지는 것.
모두가 떠나가고 남은 곳에는 지나간 사실과 그에 대한 기억만이 존재하며, 그 기억조차 점점 사라질 것이다.
우리는 이 곳에 남겨진 사람들과 그들의 기억에 대해 조명했다. 즉, 우리가 전하고자 하는 것은 우리 주변 노인에 대한 이야기이다.
모든 인간에게 무의식적으로 내재되어있는 노화불안으로 인해 노인에 대한 관심과 물리적 접촉이 부족하다.
제작과정에서 디지털미디어를 통해 노인과의 접촉과 관심에 대한 흥미를 어떻게 이끌 수 있을지에 대해 많은 고민을 했다.
결과적으로, 이 작품은 노인에 대한 미디어적 접촉 유도로서 관객의 관심을 이끌도록 만들어졌다.
그리고 노인 세명과의 미디어적 접촉을 통해 전달되는 다큐멘터리 영상은 모두가 떠나간 곳의
남겨진 그들 각각의 남겨짐, 버팀, 되새김에 대한 이야기가 담겨있다.
