Field Impressions; Photographs from Tybee Island, Georgia encompasses the feeling of intimacy and sense of regional pride through what many dismiss from their mind. The island of 3,000 is not only a hometown to many, but is a community of people creating more then just a vacation area. This series of images documents that emotional awareness through natural and human made landscapes. Contiguous to the personal emotion, the series takes a step back from what many consider a gallery of images and goes into depth of how an artist can document a certain area with impressions and records to create that body of work.
