After selecting a specified Healthcare Provider through physician level data, formulary grids are displayed for the top plans covered by the physician selected. This means that out of the patients they see, most patients are insured under these plans. The grids are broken down into Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans and show the coverage or reimbursement status for the drug the Drug Rep promotes. The status denotes the reimbursement level, and any restrictions that must be followed through before the brand name drug can be presribed.
When the user clicks on the bolded restriction, a pop-up window appears with the restrictions definition.
The plus "+" or minus "–" button allows the user to compare competitor brand name drugs to their drug, to directly compare the coverage of the two brands. In this example, the Drug Rep can compare how their drug compares to the main competitor under the same top Commercial insurance plans.
By clicking the mail button to the left of the plus/minus button, the user can email the Formulary Grid results to the physician's or to their personal email to save their results.
If a Drug Rep wants to remove a plan and its results from the physician's top plan list, they can swipe to hide those plans.
The "Pre-Call Plan" is the Drug Rep's quick access sheet to see important statistics about the physician's office in regards to the overall coverage percentage of the patients that are prescribed the drug they promote, what percentage of patients are covered under specific branches of insurance plans, and what the top insurance plans are with coverage statuses for that drug.
Resources allows the Drug Rep to access materials to show to the physician, data reports, and allows them to look up plans, physicians, and other information.
