                                                                           Or, by realizing that water is actually everywhere
To study the urban occupation on Aricanduva Watershed in the city of São Paulo, a base map was developed taking into consideration natural boundaries of the territory. Instead of using administrative limits, the territory is defined by the boundaries of the watershed of Aricanduva River and instead of using the street grid as the main spatial reference in the city, water takes over that role.
