After Initial Interviews with stakeholders and customers we had a list of requirements which we kept in a fairly unphotogenic word document.
One thing unique to our team is that we try to bring development, stakeholders, and design int he room with the requirements to do the initaial whiteboarding/paper-prototype. This way testing and feedback can be gathered while development is underway. In this we are able to gather feedback without impacting development iterations, and gives stakeholders an opprotunity to evaluate feeback with a more complete dataset as opposed to simple right-testing
When testing we always aim to test "on device" to ensure nuance isn't lost in differing interaction models. (Mobile gestures vs Mouse interactions for example.)
