The Ghost Hunter - Treatment script for a ten minute film short
Polish boy Roman Polanski escapes Nazi death camps and becomes film director, only to throw away his reputation over a controversial sexual assault. He flees the U.S and is captured thirty years later on his way to receive a lifetime achievement award.
The Inspiration for this script arose from a series of World News stories on the search for dark matter at the Large Hadron Collider based at Lake Geneva and the film director Roman Polanski who was under house arrest in the mountains surrounding the lake.
Using the imagery of atom smashing and the opening of dimensions in time, I came upon the idea of the inner workings of a film makers mind who transports us to his past and reveals vital elements to his story which may or may not have an impact on how we judge his current predicament.
