This woodcut print was influenced by Picasso's "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" and my adolescent weekends spent waiting and waiting for the girl's heat of local surfing competitions, in which I would compete. A homage to those last moments spent preparing on the shoreline, waiting for the horn to blow so we could enter the water.
