This poster for Reykjavik, Iceland is based off of the Imagine Peace Tower. It sits across the water from Reykjavik and shines into the night sky as a beacon of peace. It was created by Yoko Ono in memory of John Lenon and their ongoing quest for world peace. The tower is not a building, but a beam of lights that create the illusion of a tower. Around the rim of the tower is the engraving “Imagine Peace” written in twenty four languages. I based this imagine off a photo from instagram of the tower. I wanted the style to be more flat with vectors. I feel this representation makes the tower look striking.
