The house is designed for the family of a painter and a pianist. The painter is a naturist, inspired by the beauty of the plants, so the basic intent was to bring the nature in the house. The building is characterized by the indoor gardens that make it brighter. The “illuminating” gardens provide enough light so the house is introverted with few openings on the facades. The main entrance leads to the piano hall trough a “gallery passage” which exposes the painter’s artwork. This diagonial passage enters the ortho shaped space and define it. The combination of the building’s interior and exterior creates a paradox. The house is a “reversed tree”. The “bole” out and the “green” in.
