large format photography

This set is still a work in progress; these are a few of the shots I have taken working with a large format (4x5 view) camera. There's something incredible about working with a large format camera... the control you have over every aspect of your photo is just wonderful, not to mention the detail you can get from these negatives is something that has yet to be reproduced by digital cameras. I have taken an interest lately in rural settings throughout Douglas County, KS, abandoned buildings in particular. All photos were shot with Kodak Professional TMAX 400 film, processed and printed by hand.
