The purpose of this assignment was to help me get out of my comfort zone. I was to watch people and photograph them without them knowing or posing for the camera. We were not to take photos of our friends or family members. The goal was to get comfortable taking images of complete strangers in order to tell a story for our viewers.
"Mom with Baby"
This was a lady on Main Street in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. They had just parked their car and prepared to walk the sites of downtown. Baby had a different idea.
"Of Days Past"
This was a couple walking on Broadway Avenue in Louisville, Kentucky. They are reenactors of the "Belle of Louisville" riverboat. They were heading to work.
"Mr. Brakes"
Mr. Brakes was a very interesting fellow. He was visiting a local event in Louisvile, Kentucky when I passed him. I asked to take his picture and he immediately struck a pose.
"Who are you?"
This was Ms. Klee standing and taking a photo for her family on Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky. I asked her parents to take her photo but she was not sure about it.
"Urban Trekker"
This is Mr. Rhett who is homeles and from out West. He was trying to find the local shelter to get something to eat.
