Ang Lee, Oscar award winning motion picture director, attends the Rhythm and Hues Studios (R&H) opening ceremony of their newest visual effects film studio, along with Kaohsiung City Mayor Chen Chu, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.  One of the top studios of its kind in the world, Rhythm and Hues Studios, established in 1987 in Los Angeles, CA, provided special effects for Ang Lee’s film, “Life of Pi”. Rhythm and Hues Studios has provided visual special effects for over 150 major motion picture films and has won the Academy Award for “Babe” in 1995 and “The Golden Compass” in 2008.
