This salt shaker & pepper miller design is inspired on the handshake gesture and it is intended to be a gift for newlyweds. Just like a couple acquire the compromise of helping each other when they get married, the salt shaker helps the pepper miller fulfill its purpose by "giving it a hand" that makes the rotation movement and therefore the pepper milling process possible. The name "Siempre" translates "Always" referring to salt & pepper as the everlasting table couple. The prototype was made out of wood but the final product was intended to be made in ceramic.
