A Client, JaSt-IT, asked me to create some Illustrations and Icons for an app, she plans to develope. She came up with a very rough concept.
Before I could start with the grafics and before she could start developing, I created some wireframes. This helped a lot because we now know which events took place on the screens and what we want to create.
After the wireframes were done and the Client was happy with them I started with the Loading/Welcome Illustration:
The Client wanted some kind of maskot for the game and it should be a little girl. I came up with this four sketches.
The Client couldn't decide between number two and three. So I mixed them both together :) I gave her three different faces so my Client can animate her face a bit.
I was aks to deliver two scenes, the garden and the kitchen, with 10 icons each. I started with the garden. I did sketches and after that I colored them with Illustrator.
I did the same procedure for the next scene, the kitchen.
And finaly I continued with the hallway where the user can select the scene he/she want to play next.
