Goal
To take the established, iconic American restaurant brand The Palm and translate it from its restaurant origins to its retail future.
 
Approach
We used the existing logo as well as a few established design elements for brand consistency. This created the bridge between the old and the new for this brand. We expanded the brand to the retail categories of packaged food, dinnerware, drinkware, cookware and entertaining, in a manner that reflected the history of the restaurant in a modern way that would be recognized by The Palm Restaurant patrons as well as introduce The Palm brand to a new audience.
 
Photography
It was imperative that the food shots for The Palm dinnerware packaging reflected authentic Palm dishes AND tied into the feel of the approved packaging design. We selected a menu to shoot that was consistent with the classic steakhouse fare served at The Palm, and created a set that had the dark, masculine feel of a late dinner at The Palm.
