A magazine based on form vs function. It's all about wheel fitment here. The name Offset is inspired from the offset of a wheel, which is what locates the tire and wheel assembly in relation to the suspension. More specifically, it is measured distance between the hub mounting surface and the center line of the rim.
The objective was to create a magazine that fit around Offset's demographics which includes a younger generation of readers that follow all the latest car trends. The design process was simple, OFFSET. The magazine represents out of the norm wheel fitment so I transferred that into the layout by playing with the placements of certain features and articles. The overall aesthetics are clean and minimal with focuses on the featured vehicles.
