Tin Plate Project
This is a tin plate experimental project made out of three modules. This modules are joint by hinges and are flexible in both direction. It could be developed into a table design concept, in which the table form can be switched between round table and long table.
Dovetail Cube
This 3 by 3 inches aluminum cube is crafted from a 1/16 inch thick aluminum sheet. The main idea of this project is to create an essence of a cube through a simple process. Three pieces from the top to the bottom are connected together with eight precise dovetail joints.
Laminated Disk Holder
The disk was carved, chiseled, scraped, filed, sanded and shaped from a block of walnut, and it was held by three pieces of laminated veneers. Less is more, the main idea of this design is simplicity. The holder is designed to be as simple as possible in order to further elevate and emphasize the beauty of the disk.
Carved Mask
This is a collaboration project done with a partner. Each of us were to carve a "half" of a abstract mask, and they may fit together in the end. So this mask can be separated by a top half and a bottom half. When they are put together, it can be viewed in two different orientations.
