I'll have to edit this project once I get it re-printed, but the digital files are easy enough to get the concept. Basically, alcohol inks are inks that can be suspended in water, and then transferred to a surface, similar to marbling. I've used it on a variety of surfaces, from all types of paper to skateboard decks. For a final project at the beginning of 2015, we were asked to design an 8-10 page booklet, the subject matter was completely open ended. Since I enjoy incorporating alcohol inks into my work so much, and people always seemed interested when I explain the process, I made a booklet that's basically a short "how-to" on using the inks. Sadly, I didn't budget my time well on this project, and there's noticeable issues with the final product, mostly concerning the body text. However, it was still enjoyable to do, and taught me alot about experimenting with typography. The first image is the front and back covers, and the rest are the individual spreads.
