For a long time I wanted to work on a project completely in 3D and I was trying to avoid montage in postproduction as much as I could. Only the couple walking in the midground is in 2D.
I've used mudbox for modeling water, sand, stones and mountains, textures were painted in mudbox and substance painter.
I wasn't satisfied with with standard workflow of modeling and texturing rocks, so I tried to make a good rock asset in mudbox.
