Rethinking the battery packaging standards
Current battery packaging is not effective for storing batteries after it has been opened. It also uses unnecessary plastic. This design solution uses only paper. It also makes closing, opening, dispensing and reloading of the batteries a breeze. When the package is opened, two batteries slide out slightly for easy removal. When the container is flipped upside down, inserted batteries fall perfectly inplace. The structure was inspired by a bullet clip. The design was inspired bythe current design of the batteries in order to match Rayovac’s branding.
