This is a piece I originally intended to submit to my professor as extra credit for our course on game theory, but I was swamped with requirements across other subjects that the deadline easily slipped past me.

I did, however, get this rare gut feel that I should just go ahead and finish the piece because the idea I had kept on running through my head. I felt like I would regret it if I didn't follow through on it, so here it is!

I made the piece using pencils, ink, colored pencils and markers. I cleaned up a little with Adobe Photoshop, and I have a strange feeling my inexperience with digital cleanup is apparent.

The theory I based this piece on is called the Spiral of Silence by Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann. It's a pretty interesting theory, so please do take the time to look it up! Maybe we can talk about it in the context of our media of preference.

Let me know what you think of my work, and if you have any suggestions as to how I can improve, that would be really appreciated.
