The main idea was to create urban bench which would fulfill two roles: seat and chaise longue. Shape development start from
simple bench and by using circles it become more and more organic. Next step, during the design process, was to create possibility of separate parts of bench. To do that I decide to use idea of folding fan. Each segments is connected in the way that allowed to small shift in relation to the neighboring elements and thanks to that rotation of elements passes very smoothly and gives the bench a dynamic and interesting look which reminds folding of hand fan.
Moreover, construction, which is made by wooden elements, allowed to create benches with different lengths and various configurations of seating and lying places. In that way every time bench may look completely different.
