Printmaking - Lithographs

Over the course of my time at SCAD, I've gotten the opportunity to take two printmaking courses, Intro To Printmaking, and Intro To Lithography. Below are the lithographs that I produced throughout the course of those two classes.
This is my first lithography project, printed from a stone. Definitely not my favorite lithography process, but it was fun to learn how they printed when the process originated.
This is the 2nd project I did, printed from an aluminum plate. Again, not my favorite, as I'm not very good at drawing freehand, but still interesting.
This project, along with the rest of the ones in this collection, were all printed using pronto plates. If you're unfamiliar with the process, you basically print each color separately in black ink from the computer, onto a pronto plate, which is this semi-translucent material, kind of like a thick transparency paper. Then, you sponge the plate with water to keep color out of the parts of the plate without your image, then roll ink over it, put your paper on top, and print it. It's not an ideal process for consistent and reliable editions, but as someone who prefers working on the computer, it was my process of choice througout both of my printmaking classes
This is the only project I used a traditional CMYK color run for, and although I had registration issues, it was still one of my favorite projects to create.
This is the first pronto plate lithograph I made for my Intro to Printmaking class, and the first image I made in my series "Jungle Geometry". Before my final project, it was the most runs I'd ever done with a print before, 5 separate colors.
Finally, this is the second lithograph from Intro to Printmaking, as well as the second image from "Jungle Geometry". This was a 7 color run, but I also made an alternate 8 color version, with a monochromatic cityscape image printed in the background. However, those did not come out as successfully I think, and don't fit with the rest of the images I usually create for lithographs.
