Oakland Regional Hospital was a great site to design, going with their original colors I stuck with burgundies and whites. Being a professional establishment I felt that they were best served by keeping to a simplistic design with less flash and more usability. When designing the site I took into account that many of their users may be between 40-80yrs old and having good clear contrast and proper typography would help create a solid and usable site.

In addition, I felt that the navigation need to be very simple and in your face to help users find their way throughout the rather vast site.
