After I watched Moonrise Kingdom I knew I had to do something with the movie because of its beautiful color palette, but I couldn't think of anything so the idea was shelved, until I saw this. 

 

I had been following the thingsplacedneatly tumblr for a while and appreciated the aesthetic, so when I saw that shot from the movie, I decided to combine the two ideas.
