Background
Sometimes the best stories have the most humble beginnings. What Alfredo Gonzales lacked in height he made up for in determination, and facial hair.
He had no money for new socks so he customized socks from the factory he worked in with buttons he found on the busy New York streets. Alfredo’s socks got a lot more attention than his skating. After making collections with crazy patterns and colours it was time for some single tone socks; The Pencil Collection.
The case
Alfredo himself asked us to make some giant lightweight pencils for this shoot. We took cardboard and some spraypaint and made him these awesome pencils.
