MENS WASH BAG AND SET
The Brief
The giftware industry is predominantly a female market however there is a niche market in men’s gifts which we do very well
in. We would therefore like to set a small brief to see if you can design a suitable men’s wash bag and manicure set. You will need to incorporate a related slogan to the product along with a masculine design.
Concept
My design ideas came from the visuals and interiors of Barber and Shaving parlours. The smell of Coffee and the textures of leather and tweed, with a snappy simple style.
‘A great haircut is key to any man’s carefully crafted style.’
Within my concept I wanted to create harmonious products, which would help craft characteristics. A timeless form, something that will wear well, lasting for years.

Solution
My final designs include a Manicure set and wash bag, both with uncluttered designs that can be used separately or can be brought together within a travel toiletry roll up bag.
The roll up promotes the same style and holds both items sturdy with straps and press studs, along with a separate attached pouch to hold any shaving equipment.
