A quick design explanation: Because the blanket's colors and pattern were inspired by the greenery and sunshine of summertime, I wanted it to be photographed in a light, airy setting: mirroring the light-weight comforts of the blanket.

After weaving my first blanket, it's safe to say I'm hooked. While the process of weaving is long and tedious, it is extremely rewarding. It's like a puzzle: full of challenging logistics, pensive repetition, and simple joys that make it worth the long hours. It's truly a labor of love.
