Arteiras Culinárias is a group of women originally from a community (favela) in Rio de Janeiro. They are exceptional cooks and they work with organic ingredients on a fair trade business model.
This work was financed with the aid of an international organization - ARCS from Italy - that worked for 2 years side by side with IBASE on several social projects. 48 had the chance to design most of the graphic materials used on these projects, and here is just one of them.
The catalogue was made on recycled paper, giving it a natural look and the effect of vintage - reflecting their handmade spirit - through the faded colors.
