BRIEF: Reposition Swedish home furnishing retailer in USA & Canada

IKEA was seen as a low price furniture retailer, hindering its full offering and potential.

IDEA: With IKEA’s unparalleled range and vast knowledge on solutions for better living at home,
we had all we needed to reposition IKEA into North America’s most affordable home interior specialist.

The campaign theme “Imagine the possibilities”, allowed us to inspire in humorous way and made people see what a huge difference a small amount of money and a visit to IKEA could make to their homes.

The above-the-line campaign engaged and inspired people to see their homes potential for improvement.
The catalogue and seasonal campaigns provided 100’s of home furnishing solutions at great value.
MAIN CATALOGUE: The main catalogue was redesigned with a more idea-driven and emotional appeal than prior catalogues. Above selected spreads from home office, teenage and sofa sections.
