clients have said to designers & illustrators, and how to respond to them.
My piece does not reflect the actual words of the essay; I drew inspiration
from my personal experience, and other quotes sent to me by my peers.

Preliminary Sketches
The art director and I chose to go with the second sketch.

Corrections
The piece underwent two phases of digital corrections before reaching its final stage.
Color
I usually begin with a background colour, then add each separate colour in layers, as if it were a silk-screen print.
This particular palette adheres to the brand guidelines of XXIID, which includes three metallic colours: gold, silver, and copper.
I utilized the gold for this piece.
