Beehive Pizza is a new wood-fired pizza restaurant near Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine. The name comes from a popular formation in the park called "The Beehive", a steep granite hill that has the shape of a beehive from certain angles.
With a target audience comprised of outdoorsy locals, wealthier summer residents, college students and tourists, the new pizzeria's vibe is casual and fun. The rustic building has lots of big exposed wood beams and of course a large hand-built wood fired oven prominently placed in the center.

Beehive Pizza needed a logo to form the basis for all their graphics, including a web site, menus, signage, t-shirts and hats. Their new logo is a combination of bold simplicity and rustic earthy refinement.
