This is the logo of my brand ''RB'' and the basis of this project. In ceramics we have to erase some details because the material goes through a complex process and the details simply disappear. Pointy and sharp details are forbidden, so as you can see in the picture below, i had to make the dog a little bit different.
RB - Urban Craft was a work that i developed in a school project for 2 months.
I made over than 50 pieces with different sizes, finishing and colors. The pieces that i'm showing are the smallest, 10 cm tall and 130 grams of weight.
When we work in such high temperatures, we need to make the design of the object look thick and ''strong'' so it will not break during the process.
After the clay was dry and hard i used a thin sandpaper and a sharp blade to continue the work.
After a long process of molding, carving, painting, ''cooking'' and polishing this is the final result. A delicate piece of hard work. Size:10 cm. Weight: 130gr.
This ''white'' stains are the place where the clay ''sucked'' the paint, for any reason it became like this. I made more than 50 pieces and almost all had this look.
