Biking over long distances is a passion of mine. In several years I have covered almost 2000km of new territory on my two wheels. To put that all in perspective, I took the GPS-routes, recorded with my smartphone and vectorised the routes so that I could manipulate them in Illustrator. The end effect shows a dense network of lines originating from my place of residence with outliers reaching hundreds of kilometres from their origin.
Though the network is hard to read at full scale, the enormity of the territory covered shows how easy it is to travel by bike in the Netherlands.
